Futsal has a few differences from the five-a-side game, including:

  • Played to lines (it is started with a 'kick-in').
  • Ball has reduced bounce and is a size four.
  • Rolling substitutes.
  • All players go move anywhere on the pitch, including goalkeepers.
  • Minimal contact with an accumulated five-foul limit.
  • Futsal operates within the FIFA Laws of the Game, encompassing all of the above and more.
